  • Share links and their access history

Important: We do not scan or analyze the content of Your files except as required by law or to detect malware and prohibited content as outlined in our Terms of Service.

File Storage and Retention

File Data Retention

Files uploaded to FlingDrop are automatically deleted according to Your plan:

  • Free Plan: Files are deleted 7 days after upload
  • Premium Plans: Files are deleted 30 days after upload

Files may be deleted earlier if:

  • You manually delete them
  • Your Account is terminated or suspended
  • The Content violates our Terms of Service
  • Required by law

Personal Data Retention

The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Account information and usage data may be retained for up to 90 days after Account deletion for backup and legal compliance purposes.

Security of Your Data

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect Your data:

  • Encryption: All files are encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest (AES-256 encryption)
  • Access Controls: Strict access controls limit who can access Your data
  • API Key Security: API Keys are hashed and stored securely

  • Not sharing Your Account with others
  • Securing the devices You use to access the Service

Account Deletion

You may delete Your Account at any time through Your dashboard or by contacting Us. Upon Account deletion:

  • Your Account information will be deleted
  • Your files will be immediately deleted from our servers
  • Share links will stop working
  • This action cannot be undone

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 18. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, We take steps to remove that information from Our servers.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. If You click on a third party link, You will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit.
